Executive Committees for 2026 have officially been announced, this is a significant step to enable the youth in Bangladesh to have a voice in the policy processes in the country. The initiative, announced on January 20, 2026, involves the creation of 33 committees in 30 districts covering 8 divisions, which consists of 239 Executive Members. This would place future leaders in a better position to make a meaningful change and increase the voices of young people in the country. The committees will have a one-year term with the beginning in January 2026.
Additionally, every district committee will be headed by a specific team that will have clearly defined responsibilities to be successful in their initiatives. The Team Lead will give the general leadership and direction of the team, with the Co-Lead assisting in the coordination process and taking over the leadership in the absence of the Team Lead. Financial management will be handled by the Treasurer and Program Officer by planning and executing campaigns and happenings. The Documentation Officer will have proper records and reports, and the Public Relations Officer will control communications and social media platforms. The Volunteer Coordinator will accept and encourage the volunteers which will enhance their interest and growth in the team.
Overall by these committees, Youth for Policy plans to develop the future generation of leaders in Bangladesh, whereby the youth views are proactively reflected in the decisions made. The creation of these committees will be a major milestone in the organizational history, as it will cement the focus that the organization has on becoming innovative, providing positive change, and making a lasting impact on the country. With its focus on leadership, strategic action and growth, Youth for Policy will be able to create a better future for the youth in Bangladesh and the country as a whole.
