Welcome to Youth for Policy (YfP), a vibrant youth network in Bangladesh dedicated to empowering young minds through active participation in public policy discourse.

The youth network evolved from a national youth consultation. The outcome was a youth manifesto, submitted to all political parties in Bangladesh prior to the national election of that year. This established the organization’s focus on providing a platform for youth involvement in policy-making.

Since 2013, YfP has established a network of over 1200 youth trained in public policy advocacy, covering 35 districts in Bangladesh. Currently, the network operates with 10 active committees at the upazila level. Cumulatively, these efforts have reached approximately 20,000 community members through various awareness campaigns.

An integral part of YfP’s operations is the advanced level residential policy training program known as “Policy Camp.” To date, approximately 242 youth leaders have completed this training. These graduates, now referred to as “Policy Champions,” organize a hybrid course called “PolicyCampX” to disseminate knowledge on policy advocacy to a broader community.

YfP has also ventured into digital education through the launch of a MOOC titled Public Policy 101 on Mukthopath, the largest online learning platform administered by the ICT Division of the Bangladesh government. Within a year of its launch, the course has attracted around 4,500 enrollees.
